Chromebook Cart Setup
Here are some suggested resources and tools to help you set up

and manage your Chromebook cart.

A label maker is a very helpful tool when you are setting up your Chromebooks and your cart. Label each machine with a number as well as each slot in your cart. You can then either assign numbers to students or you can just use their place in the classroom roster to determine their numbers. For example, if Sara Adams is the first student on my class roster, she will always use the # 1 computer.

Though they are not necessary, totes are a great way to store Chromebooks safely. They can be as inexpensive as $1 each (check the dollar section at Target!) or an enterprising person could fairly easily sew a set. Craft foam also works very well to pad totes.

Velcro ties are exceptionally useful and are relatively inexpensive, too. It is worth the money to pick up a set. Another useful tool would be small clips. Cord organizing clips are also very helpful, such as those by 3M. If you do a search for Command cord organization, you'll see available product options. Take a look at your Chromebook cord to see which size clips you might need.

This may seem obvious, but having a padlock and using it is very helpful!
